Apple will not accept cash for iPads

I am sure it is one of those local decisons that has a good reason behind it, but it can be frustrating

Seeing how the US dollar has no actual intrinsic value aside from the ink and the paper that it takes to make it, can you blame them for not taking cash?

Perhaps once the charges are settled and Apple has the US dollars from the transactions in their account they then go and purchase gold or non US based gold mining stocks so that they won't get wiped out when the currency crisis hits the US within the next 2 1/3 years.
