According to a fresh report coming from 9to5Mac, it seems that Apple Stores have began stocking standalone Apple Watch bands for purchase. For now, this has been confirmed in the United States and the United Kingdom, but users from other launch countries inform that they too can order Apple Watch bands online through the Apple Store. Here's what well-connected Mark Gurman says:

"This strap inventory will primarily be for customers who would like to swap the band that comes pre-bundled with their Apple Watch after their purchase. Secondary to this, these early band shipments for stores will be available as replacements for worn-out bands from the various store Apple Watch try-on stations"

Gurman also informs that the remaining Apple Watch inventory will be available to be sold to customers seeking an additional band for their Apple Watch. Furthermore, it seems that Apple will soon begin advertising the availability of Sport Bands in its stores.

While it's possible to buy bands online, customers can buy Apple Watch brands only at certain locations, but the number will soon increase. Apple is currently selling individual Sport Bands for $49, while the Classic Buckle, Milanese Loop and Leather Loop retail for $149 each. The Modern Buckle is more expensive at $249 while the Link Bracelet is the costliest Apple Watch strap available at $449.
