All-day Calendar entries lagging a day behind

Can anyone help, please? Really loving my new iPad, but have discovered a glitch in the calendar. All all-day entries, including pre-installed ones (national holiday dates etc) show up as one day early. Good Friday is apparently on a Thursday this year
Hourly entries are correct, it's only the all-day ones that are the problem. I have checked my time zone settings and they are all okay. My calendar syncs with Mac and iPhone 4 and those calendars are okay, only the new iPad has the problem.
