would not turn on

I used my iPad&7 this morning shut it off and went back to it about an hour later and it wouldn't turn on, I plugged the charger in and nothing I kept pushing buttons and finely it turned on is this something to be worried about.

If the iPad battery is low enough, it will take several minutes before it will turn on after plugging into the charger.

The battery was not low it was at 80%

Try turning it off again to see if the problem repeats. If so, and even if it doesn’t, contact Apple Support to see about getting a diagnostic done. You could have a hardware fault that should be covered under the standard warranty.

Might be a problem with the power button. That’s all I can think of.

If it keeps happening, you should probably look into taking (or sending) it to Apple for a diagnostic. If it’s less than a year old the warrantee should still be good.
