World of Tanks Generals Coming to iOS

Wargaming has announced today that it is currently working on a new game, World of Tanks Generals, which will be coming to iOS and Android in the future, and which has just begun a closed beta test via Web browsers.

Wargaming is inviting players to apply to be part of the closed web browser beta for the collectible card game set in the World of Tanks universe.

“Our main goal with Closed Beta is to evolve the game into the incredible experience we’re aiming for,” said Andrey Zimenko, Director of Global Operations, World of Tanks Generals. “We've put a lot of effort into the game and are looking forward to seeing how testers like the current version, as well as hear their ideas and suggestions about the game's future.”

The game features a PvP mode and PvE training battles, with players getting the chance to master the game’s basics, build several decks, plan their strategy and unlock cards that fit in with their playing style.

The closed beta will feature more than 200 unique cards split between three factions: the USA, Germany, and the USSR, and further subdivided into different types. Each battle is an intense mixture of sudden strikes, tactical tricks, and dynamic duelling.

World of Tanks Generals will use the unified Wargaming.net ID, giving instant access to other Wargaming titles, including World of Tanks, World of Tanks Blitz, World of Warplanes and World of Warships.
