With a jailbroken Ipad, how do I get my ipad synced with a new machine?

So I am ready to convert over to a new machine. I have my entire Ipad Itunes folder on an external drive. The question is what do I do to get my ipad to sync with the new machine?

Do I just copy that folder over, direct Itunes to it, and all should be good?

If you've moved your iTunes over to the new machine, then you *should* be able to just plug in the iPad and go. At least, that's how it worked when I switched computers/iTunes.

It should be plug and play. I don't recall ever having iTunes prompting me to have to restore at any point to sync, even on a friend's computer. If it does end up asking for you to restore, "Authorize this PC" should solve it in the Store tab at the top though I think that's only the case for the Touch and the iPhone.
