I have never been into naming anything like a car or appliance. It's not that I don't love my car/stove/computer...it is just one more name for me to remember. I am already at password critical mass.

Just about all of my toys and PCs get names. My iPad2 was ordered very early this morning and is to be called The Duke. My wife has already said Duke will be just fine for her. We are both class of '57 from Duke.

My iPad is also "nameless". I would have given her a more interesting name, but she doesn't like to be anthropomorphised.
