Why is it taking so long to download the 7.1 update on my devices??

So far I am updating the iPads, I need to start on the iPod and iPhone. Thank goodness we can still use the devices while the software is downloading.

Must be because of your wi-fi, or apple servers are getting bombarded.

The update took longer than most for me...but I now have all my devices updated. So far, the only difference I have seen in in the wall papers section. Not totally right (IMO), but much better than it was upon initial release.
