Just a thought for consideration - bought my wife an iPad Mini recently; we looked @ cases and she was attracted to the colorful ones - I convinced her to get a black one stating that in a year the 'dirt/grime/etc.' will be invisible - NOW, I have a gray smart cover on my iPad 2 - after 2 years, it looks pretty grimy (and not easy to clean) - should I shell out the $$ for a new 'darker' one or just continue on until my next iPad? OR - maybe I could 'spray paint' it black?

From personal experience, I've been noticing a lot of white iPads recently. I believe this is because a lot of people thought that white iPads would be unique to have than the then popular black iPads. However, a lot of people probably had the same thought together and they all ended up buying white iPads. Hence, we see more white iPads today than the black ones.

So, I would vote for a black iPad as it is more uncommon. I'd leave the rest to you. All the best.
