Check your Bluetooth settings when this happens to make sure you don’t have a paired keyboard on nearby.

If you have an iPad Pro, make sure the smart keyboard connector isn’t in contact with something damp or conductive; though this is more likely to result in unexpected dinging sounds than keyboard detection.
