Staples flyer was sitting there looking at me while I was having my coffee this morning, and prompted a visit. The $300 discount was too tempting. MBP 17" retina. It actually ran out cheaper than the MBA I'd been eyeballing.

All things considered, it represented the best value, especially with Alberta's lack of PST.

Yes. Only problem is, I have to wait until next weekend to pick it up. The store was out of stock, so they are transferring one from another store. I've waited this long, another week won't hurt. Adding the i7 and the 256Gb SSD to the 13" made them the same price, so that's why I went with the 15".

Just realized I said 17". Don't panic. Apple haven't been secretly releasing MBPs. I goofed.
