Morning.

We are getting ready for a day in London. River ferry from Westminster to Tower Pier. Take photos of lots, including the Paralympic symbol on Tower Bridge. Then off to the British Museum.

I'm thinking of what is it challenge photos and Architecture thread photos!

At the BM will try to see the 100 items which define the history of the world.

That sounds like a wonderful day out! We will enjoy it with you later via the photos:-) Hope the weather is kindly.

Those 100 items in the BM...are they the ones that were chosen to be included in the Radio 4 programme series recently?

Sounds like fun. I love the British Museum and its surrounds. When I visit London, I like to stay in the West End and walk to the BM.

Ah, heat's difficult for fish too? Suppose they can't very well turn on a blower, whenever.

Yes. They go deep to colder water and generally become less active in mid to late August.

The day was great. I'm leg weary and taking it easy in between catch up jobs at home. Yes, the items were featured in the R4 series. BM has leaflets mapping out the items, as well as books on the items. We managed to find 30 important pieces.

Sounds like a tiring but satisfying day. I'm jealous.

Did they offer some kind of app to go along with the exhibit? The BM seems tech savvy, from what I've seen of its online exhibits and apps.
