What country are you in? In the UK you can use

BBC iPlayer
Sky News
Catchup TV
4oD

and many others, but they're specific to the UK. Similarly, in the US and Canada there's Netflix, but it's limited to those countries. Let us know the country that you're in and we'll do our best to suggest apps.
