Businesses can now do their own advertising by using the iPad 2 Wall Mount Display, thus securing the device in an open environment. Macgadgets announced the new wall mount after releasing the popular iPad 2 Display doc earlier this summer. “After the successful release of our iPad 2 Display Dock earlier this year we received dozens of requests for a wall mounted version that offered security features. We feel this product is the ideal solution to provide security and style,†said founder and CEO Michael Schriner said.
The wall mount is constructed from high-quality 1†clear acrylic and it can be hanged in both landscape and portrait positions. The screws for mounting on the wall are concealed behind the iPad 2 and aren’t accessible while the tablet is in the case, thus preventing stealing. To further help with the issue, the cover is held in place with tamper-proof screws. An optional clear cover can also be ordered with a button guard that prevents access to the on/off buttons. The wall-mount also has slots for the charging cable and earphones.
Schriner feels that their product can be used in businesses like storefronts, retail displays, restaurants, museums and galleries and many more as the iPad Wall Mount can also work as a free standing display for table tops. He predicts that the sales of their products will continue to grow at a fast pace, much like it has done until now. At $79.95 each, the mount displays are expected to sell quickly.
