Hello, everyone. After recently having my laptop burglarized from my home, I decided to take my first step into the Apple/Mac World. Since the other machine weighed almost 10 lbs., the IPad's 1.5 lbs. is a welcomed relief! I'm pretty much planning on using the Pad for e-mail, browsing and a little multimedia while laid back on the mattress or on trips. So far, I'm pleased with the "speed" of the apps but will have to get used to the size; from 18.4" down to 9.4" screen and screen keyboarding.
