Hi, I am a 70yo. Aussie and have heaps of GB for downloading.
Is there a program for downloading torrents for my iPad 2?

I've used uTorrent and one thing that I've found hard to do is have a torrent client on a mobile device. With that said, it would make it a very difficult, power consuming and data consuming tool.

So the best method is to use the uTorrent webUI on your home computer. There's even a package you can install that makes it more touch friendly for iPad users. This method, in my opinion, is better then having a client app on your mobile device because:

1) Your home network is probably faster then your mobile device
2) Handling multiple torrents on your computer will be faster
3) You can still easily access the content if you set it up correctly. For example: have uTorrent download the files to your dropbox account, or setup Orb or FTP server and you can easily download the files to your iPad.
