Using iPad across Europe

Hi
My wife & I will be touring Europe (Hungary, Croatia, Italy, Switzerland & France) for 6 weeks in September this year and I am hoping that I can get a single carrier (prepaid micro SIM) that will work in all of these countries (wishful thinking probably).

Is this possible, and if so which would be the best?

If not, any information on the most suitable in each/any of these countries would be most appreciated.
