US iPad in UK

I am going to buy a US iPad when on holiday next week. Could anyone tell me howthe warranty would work and anyone with past experience with this.

Also is there any other con's with buyingfrom the US.

warranty should still be valid.

you will have to get a new 3G simcard when you get the the UK if you buy a 3G Model.


Also are you planning on just walking into a store and buying one? most stores are still sold out.

Thanks for quick reply, Was only goingto get Wifi. Yep was hopefully going to walk into Florida Mall Applestore on the first day of holiday. If they dont have them in could i put my name down.

How long is the average wait for them to come into store if one is reserved
