Uploading Files To Web Sites

Here are certain web sites, I'm a writer, and sites like "Smash Words" won't let me upload, it sits there. Why does this happen and how do I get around it?

The iPad's native web browser, Safari, cannot upload files to a web site. To do this you need to use a third party browser such as iCab, which has that facility. iCab has a number of other advantages too; for example, it can 'pretend' to be any browser type you want so that you don't necessarily appear like a mobile browser to a web site.

Absolutely. iCab can upload any file that you can move to the app's local file space. Remember, in the iPad, one app cannot access another app's filespace. So, any photo or file that you want to upload using iCab needs to be in iCab's local file space. To do that you need to use iOS's 'Open In' facility. i.e. you need to go to, say, the Photo app in the iPad and then, from there, use the menu to transfer (open) the file in iCab. Then, from iCab, you'll be able to upload the photo.

Please help me to upload a document from my ipad to a website via icab mobile. I have already downloaded the file into the icab mobile downloads area

Thanks
