Updates for National Trust and QPR have frozen the app

Hi, Can someone help me please?? I've just updated two apps (iPhone apps) on my iPad 4 and now the apps have frozen. I can open the app but can't go any further. I have deleted and downloaded apps again but still doesn't work.

Just tried my update National Trust app, it stayed locked up for about 20 seconds, but then it was ok. Seems ok now.

Thanks I waited and waited and it's now corrected itself!!!!
