update ipad 2?

im new to ipad, so far this site helps a lot but question , is it safe to uprade ipad 2 to newer version ? how about the apps and files installed ? it will be affected? deleted? if i do the upgrade? thanks juju

If you mean will upgrading to 4.3.5 (or iOS 5 later this month) affect your apps and files, the answer is no. Exceptions: You can't upgrade if you're jailbroken, unless you remove the jailbreak. And there's always the slight possibility of some glitch affecting your contents and apps when you upgrade, which is why it's always a good idea to back up your stuff before upgrading.

thanks for the advice .. i guess i shouldn't change anything as of the moment
not until i am very well familiar with it, will take sometime to read other helpful advise
from forum... God bless
