I did report it. I was past the 90 day warranty so I am "SOL". Company wouldn't do anything for me. After researching the issue, the case cracking was a known issue in the first production run of the Trooper Case. After so many positive reviews on the product, it is disappointing that the company would warranty a known issue. I would have even settled for paying half on a replacement. Oh well.
I just purchased the Zaggfolio for the new iPad at Best Buy. I like it a lot.
