So I've seen an iPad with basicly two different browsing types one with tabs witch you open and you can see them all you have open in a big window ive seen the other way witch is what I have the tabs on the top with the X you click on and such I was wondering can you switch witch type you want I do like the first one but if I can't get it it's no big deal any help thanks

Old way, new way.

Unless you can find a pre iOS 5.x iPad you are stuck with Safari's with the new way; which is the tabs across the top.

Though you can probably find a third party browser that does the thumbnails. Opera Mini has a home page that works something like that.
