Tennessee lawyer sues Apple for getting him hooked on porn

At least we have the freedom to file frivolous lawsuits, among many other freedoms.

Having said that, this case will be dismissed with prejudice.

And that's the shame of it.....as it has a real impact on the rest of the world!

That is beyond stupid. You buy an IPad to be able to have all internet accessibility (other than what requires Flash). What you do with your product after you buy it, is not at the fault of Apple, but to the person who looks it up. How is that Apple's fault that he got addicted to porn, and fell out of relations with his wife. That is his own. And nonetheless, a lawyer?! I just saw a site with naked kittens and the cows were not wearing diapers. So it is everywhere you want to be. I guess it is porn even in the bobvine world. So cows are naked, they deficate in public and they fornicate at will and the farmer is not required to bleep and censor their cow's naughty behavour? I say we start with the cows and then turn off the Internet.

I think am glad to see the end to iPorn, it is about time.

But you're right, products like the Apple iPad developed in America have a real impact on the world.

What if this lawsuit has nothing to do with his own short commings as a responsible adult. What if this is a religious law suit? I.E. He is trying to protect others from porn, especially children.

There is no legal way he can force Apple to add a safety feature by saying "Kids can look at this smut". If Apple was so inclined, it would have added that feature years ago. Considering how they police the applications for this type of content to begin with. But by singling out himself as an individual, then the case is reviewed with a less critical eye for its merit. If he can get this case on to a court's docket, he will have a real starting point to work with for his true agenda.
