Syncing: switching from PC to Mac

I just purchased a new iPad today (yay!) and I want to start using it right away. My Macbook pro is in the shop getting fixed and I am currently using an older PC.

Question: If I hook my iPad up to the iTunes on my older PC, is it going to cause problems when I want to start syncing it to my Macbook when it gets back from the shop next week? I'd rather not wait to set it up til then because I'm not SURE exactly when it will be back. I would just be using Safari on the iPad, not adding apps to it yet. I'll wait for my Mac to come back to do that.

You shouldn't have any problems with syncing. iTunes will automatically transfer purchases to the Mac.
