Following on from the success of the iPhone/iPod touch version of Super Badminton, Rolocule Games has today announced the immediate release of the HD iPad version of the game, which is available to download now from the iPad App Store for $4.99/£2.99.

As you'd expect, the iPad version is a big leap forward from the iPhone version, complete with new animations that enhance the behavioral responses of the players in the game. Aside from the visually improved badminton players, courts and controls, shuttlecock physics simulation has also been optimized to run 10x faster.

Super Badminton 2010 HD features 8 badminton players and 5 different badminton courts, and uses both touch and tilt controls to hit various badminton shots. There are three gameplay modes in total: Quick Play, Exhibition and Tournament, with the latter featuring three tournaments with balanced difficulty similar to real-life badminton tournaments. Exhibition mode enables you to customise your match in terms of choice of player, court type and difficulty levels, among other things, and Quick Play is exactly what it says!
