Stuttering motion with Sport Action

My download speed measured on iPad is 40+Mbps,but when I watch sport on Nowtv the motion isn’t smooth,but stutters,stops starts,most annoying.Thie same program when watched on mobile android phone has no problems,and is fine!

Explanation welcome… thank you
