Forum rookie myself here so wait for more replies first before you take my advice. I talked to the one guy i know about spreadsheets and other office tools for ipad for my business. I now use an app called numbers. Its an app from apple and is compatible with pc and macs. They have a line of things similar to microsoft office. Numbers spreadsheets, keynote presentations and pages for word processor. They are 9.99 each. As for free just go to app store and search for spreadsheet and put it on free apps only for results.
