Sounds of Silence

Bought my iPad 4 in December, love it, having all kinds of fun with it. Then last night before bed I did an update of a bunch of apps and this morning the sound is dead. I looked on forums this morning, tried everything I found so far, nothing worked. ??? Was it an overload on the updates? Did I kill something?

Check the mute switch.

Also--have a looks at your settings in your iPad.

Settings - general - side switch - uncheck mute option.
