Sorting the photos in my "saved photos"

Question #1
I want to create a slideshow with the images in my "saved photos" directory.
But i want to create my own sequence. How can I move around the photos in order to place them in the order of my choice?

How can I move a photo from my "saved photos" dir to one of my other normal directories ?

From what I know, the "other normal" directories has to be created by the "other app" that then "imports" from the saved photos part of iPhoto. It doesn't work like a Mac or a PC. Maybe someone else has a better answer. My bottom line recommendation is to get something like Sort Shot [app] and maybe Photo-Sort HD and make up what you need. Folio is also good for building a portfolio.
