Sort photos by date (albums)

Hi all,
I would like to be able to sort the phots I have in albums by date taken. I have done a search in these forums and "photo manage pro" keeps croping up as a good app, but the postings seem a year a two old. So my question is, are there better apps to go for or is "photo manage pro" still the best?

If you have imported the photos using the camera connection kit, they are already sorted in files by date in the Imported Photos and Videos album.
