Sorry...I'm new

I apologize for thrusting my problem before introducing myself. This is all so new to me, as I've used a PC for so very long. I'm not real big on new ways of doing things, but I've wanted an iPad for quite some time, I finally bought one. I have managed (barely) to move forward and was real proud that I was able to download music. (never got around to buying an iPod). As mentioned earlier, I've lost all my contacts info and dread having to put them back. I'm also not good at reading directions (okay, I am female and have a gps for driving directions), but I was so excited when I got my iPad that I thought I could master it without reading them - I am, after all, proficient on a PC. Then I discovered the forums section and (hoped) thought someone might help me with this problem. I do promise to read the instructions later, but I do need my contacts listed for emailing. I'm not young (although I feel like a young, retired oldster).

Again, hello to all of you out there in cyberland from me in Tennessee.

Thanks for reading and I hope to gain some friendships along the way, also some "how to" tips.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
