I have an ipad2 and there is a small area on its screen does not respond to tap. Is there the way to fix it without bringing to the store for repair? Is this a hardware problem? Thanks

If your iPad is still under warranty or AppleCare coverage, you should certainly have it checked out at an Apple store. Any attempt to fix it yourself would void the warranty. It certainly sounds as if you may have a hardware problem.

ty for your reply. It is out of warranty, hard boot didn't work. Repair is expensive, rather buy a new one.
