Skype app for iPad

Whatever happened to the Skype iPad app? I thought this was supposed to be released last week.

Yes - that was the news that was posted. It's certainly not available in the UK App Store yet....

Not in the US store either. The iPad Facebook app hasn't surfaced yet either.

I think there is an app now for Skype.

Fring on iPhone 4 brings Skype video calling over 3G and WiFi | AppTapper

Try looking for an app called Fring.

I didn't see a Skype one but IMO is pretty good and allows you to long into all im's at once and sends push notifications.It Also allows you to record a message and im that too which I think is cool.. In use Viber to make free calls and the sound quality is outstanding.
