Skewed audio playback controls

Anyone else experienced this? The first time I saw it, I restarted, and everything went back to normal. Then, today, it's skewed again. Any ideas?

I've seen that same thing once before here on the forum. I don't recall if the cause was found or not. A reboot helped then also. You could try a thorough search to find that thread (be diligent, it may be hard to find). Somebody else may remember what the deal was...
