iPad 1. Yeah, both me and my platform are antiques. I've downloaded and use the recent Facebook app but I can't figure out how to " share". There's no share button. Could some kind somebody enlighten me?

Open the link you want to share by tapping on it. Facebook will open it in it's built in browser. At the top right of the browser you'll see the share/action button (a box with and arrow coming out of it). Tap this for a the Share option.

You can share links and sites shared by your friends. There is no option to share their posts or photos, at least none I can find. Seems like this used to be possible, but I don't see it even in the browser anymore. Could have just been my imagination.
