How can I make the iPad use Chrome instead of Safari for opening the internet?

Unfortunately, you can't on a stock iPad; it will always default to Safari when opening a web site. So, my only suggestion is to copy the link instead of just pressing on it, then open Chrome to paste the link and browse.

Sorry, but only jail broken iPads can do this (with the appropriate tweak).
