Safari open link in new window

Hello,

When watching a webpage, is it possible to click a link and open it in a new window. Like tabbed browsing in other browsers.

I' know there is a button in the toolbar of safari to open a new blank page (with displays all the thumbnails of opened websites). But then you have to first browse to the previous website.

If you click *and hold* the link for a second, a pop-up window will appear giving you that option.

Sadly, I've found Google's site to be a little difficult to do this trick at times. They probably have javascript on their links. Sometimes takes a couple of tries. (You really have to go for the middle of the link.)

Almost every other site, it works like a charm. I couldn't live without the ability to open to a new window
