Recording streaming content to dvd

HI,

If I bought a component cable adapter for my Ipad 2 and hooked it into a Panasonic DVD recorder,
would I be able to record streaming content to DVD ?

Sorry but No.

But not sure about if you used the headphone jack.

I guess it would just record whatever is on your iPad screen. I have forgotten the way mirroring works for component.
