i didnt know if this is in the right forum, but i finally got splashtop streamer working and i wanted to know 2 things, first, how can i make the volume louder when my ipad is connected to my computer, and second, can i stop splashtop streamer from running on my pc, when i am not using it. thank you

If you remove the Splashtop streamer from your PC, then you won't be able to connect to your PC from your iPad. However, knowing that, if you still want to remove it, Splashtop installs itself in the Windows 'task bar' and you can see the icon there on the bottom left hand side of the screen. If you right click the Splashtop icon you'll be given the 'End' option and that will remove the streamer from the PC. But now you'll no longer be able to connect until you re-instate the streamer.
That streamer needs to be present to detect an incoming 'connect' message from your iPad.
