Problem with Ipad Gmail

My Director is using gmail on Ipad. Everytime he deletes certain mails from gmail in Ipad, it doesnt get reflected in his laptop or iphone. they still continue to show in his laptop and iphone. Kindly suggest some settings for the ipad.

He should configure his email as Microsoft exchange , server: m.google.com and it will work for sure.

Can you give me the steps as to where i should tap on the Ipad. I am a complete novice in the case of an Ipad.

Sure,,, Follow these steps,, Settings --> Mail,contacts,calendar --> add account and select Microsoft Exchange.

Email: your mail @gmail.com

Domain: leave it blank

Username: your [email protected]

Password: your password

Description: Gmail

Tap next and will ask you to enter server : m.google.com

That's it.

All the iPad does is download the email. After that, everything you do on the iPad is separate from the servers.
