Printing - Enter page range w/keyboard; print queue?

1. Is there a way to enter a page range using the keyboard instead of having to spin the numbers wheels endlessly?
2. Is there a way to see printing progress? i.e., is there anything like a print queue?
There is no info about these features in the user guide. Probably because they don't exist.
Are there better third-party printing apps than the one included on the iPad 2?

When you start to print, if you open the multi-task bar, you'll see the 'printing app' working there. Click on that....

Hopefully someone else will be able to answer your question on page numbers.
