MacRumors reports that preparations are well underway for Apple’s event on September 9 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. Many pictures of the preparations have been posted on Twitter and Instagram by members of the public and professional photographers alike, including CBS/CNET photographer James Martin.
In one of Martin’s photos a large white Apple logo with rainbow-colours at the top can be seen, the same as the design on the event invitations, which is supposed to mimic how Siri appears on Apple Watch and in iOS 9.
There is a heavy security presence around the auditorium, including security guards and police officers guarding some of the signs that have been put up.
Photographers have also captured pictures of flags bearing the same Apple logo flying on flag poles around the auditorium. Banners with similar artwork have also been hung on light posts. It’s all starting to look very exciting!
