POP emails on ipad

So adding the gmail accounts and those types are easy, but I cannot figure out to add my pop/smtp accounts. Anyone have any ideas?

This will help
Standard POP or IMAP Accounts
To set
or IMAP account from a provider not shown explicitly
on the iPad OS’s Add Account screen, follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
2. Tap Add Account, followed by Other.
3. Tap Add Mail Account.
4. In the fields provided, enter your name, email address, password,
and description (a name for the account that will appear on Mail’s
Accounts screen). Tap Save.
Mail attempts to connect to your mail server, and in so doing, to
figure out whether it’s a POP or IMAP sever.
5. If Mail can’t determine the server type—or if your server supports
both protocols has IMAP and POP
buttons at the top; tap the one corresponding to the protocol you
want to use.
set up a POP settings—or configure additional options later
6. Enter any remaining details that aren’t already filled in, such as the
Host Name, User Name, and Password for both incoming and out-
going mail servers. Then tap Save.
Your POP or IMAP account now appears in your Accounts list, and
begins receiving email almost immediately.
