Pinterest goes poof when I touch a recipe or for that matter, anything. I have an iPad 3 and have updated the OS.

Reset your iPad - it's recommended after an update: press and hold Home and Power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears.

Also force close the app: Double tap or four finger swipe to reveal multitask bar. Then tap the thumbnail above the app icon and drag it up towards the top of the screen.

Was the app updated the last 10 days? Perhaps this issue exists because of the app itself.
