Photo delete

Hi everyone,I'm a new member here but I've had an original iPad and now have the new version. I never put photos on my first iPad but have started to create albums on the new pad. My question is if you have (and want) a photo on more than one album but decide to trash it on one of the albums once you hit the trash icon it says the photo is in more than one album and do I want to delete everywhere. It doesn't seem to give me the choice of deleting from just the one album I want delete from. Anybody know how to work around this? Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I feel you are trying to delete these photos from the camera roll itself, if you do elect to delete from here it will delete from everywhere. The camera roll is where all your photos are kept and the photos in your albums are shortcuts to these originals in the camera roll. If you want to delete from another album it will allow you to just delete from that album and will not affect the photos in the camera roll. This is just how the photo app operates, there are other third party apps available though, and members may chime in here to let you now their choices for this.
