Hello

I am looking to buy an ipad 4 for work, main use would be filling in PDF forms etc.

Is there an app where i can fully edit PDF's but also free hand draw on them with a stylus rather than just text input? So yeh i need an editor with handwriting recognition...

Just wanting to know if this is possible before i buy one otherwise theres no point!

Thanks

There are quite a number of PDF annotation apps in the AppStore. A lot of people here seem to like iAnnotate ($9.99, USD - link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/iannotate-pdf/id363998953?mt=8). Others find that Goodreader fits their needs ($4.99 - link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/goodreader-for-ipad/id363448914?mt=8). Both allow you to make annotations and flatten them for viewing in other apps and computers (including Macs and Windows PCs). Goodreader is also a "Swiss Army" knife app in that it does a lot more than just annotate PDFs, though iAnnotate (IMHO) allows you to work with PDFs in almost all ways you can think of.

Again, there are others in the AppStore. Hopefully, these two will give you ideas...

I've had great results annotating PDFs for my students using Notability. It handles ink rendering much better IMHO.
