paused app?

Hi, I have an app, Sudoku 2, that is paused on my iPad2. I don't know if it happened when I was syncing or what. I have no clue how to delete it. When I go into the app store and look it up it says it's installed, that's it. It is just sitting on my screen with the download bar in it but it hasn't downloaded at all. I just want to delete it.

Connect to iTunes, click on you iPad name on the left after the initial sync. Click on the app tab and unchech the offending app. Click on Apply in lower right corner. App will be uninstalled.
