Passcodes for individual apps or folders?

Hi everybody. I'm brand new to all of this but joined primarily to learn how to Passcode individual Apps. My kids occasionally grab my iPad (when to lazy to use theirs) to look up something and I am concerned that they might use an app which I use for business or for adult fun.
Does anyone know how to individually put a passcode on eg yahoo messenger or my Camera roll?
Or maybe just how to password protect individual albums within my photo gallery?
Thank you one and all
I just wanted to say also that being partially disabled the iPad has been a joy to use.....

You can use Restrictions in Settings to lock out certain stuff.

If you go this route careful not to forget your password. If you do, it'll take a restore to get control back.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

There is no way to actually put a Passcode on an App. You can only put them in folders but this doesn't really hide them. An iPad is really meant to be a personal device therefore this isn't a feature. There are apps you can buy for photos and Video though which do have it. LockPhoto is one, I've never used it myself but have a look. There are quite a few of these types of apps and a search of the App Store should find them.
