Ok now is mobile me really free on iPad?

Another issue...I paid for MobileMe for a couple years...on MacBook. Not worth the hassle..now I'm getting reminders on iPad some say it's free. What's the deal?

It isn't free. Only the FindMyiPhone part is free.
